SKIPLYN KENNELS
I am a member of the Canadian Kennel Club, Sudbury and District Kennel Club, Schipperke Club of Canada, the American Staffordshire Terrier Club of Canada and the Dog Legislation Council of Canada. I have received training at many seminars and professional dog training camps over the years. . I continue to advance my skills with at least one or two seminars per yr in different types of training.

I have been teaching obedience classes for 10 years now, I am the proud owner of  8 dogs. A German Shepherd, Two Schipperkes and three American Staffordshire Terriers , a doberman  and a  lab/husky X and a cat, who all live together with me in my house. All of my animals are spayed or neutered and are pets first, show dogs second. I compete professionally in obedience, agility, and flyball. I have many great accomplishments under my belt. I have been teaching flyball for the past 4 years, and I have instructed and put a team together called " TIME BOMB." In the spring of 2001 I purchased some agility equipment and have been teaching agility classes since then.

Obedience:

CD (Companion Dog) on eight dogs:

Jetta - German Shepherd,
Spirit - German Shepherd,
Chelsie - Great Dane,
Vixen - Schipperke,
Eclipse - Schipperke,

Reason - American Staffordshire Terrier,

CDX (Companion Dog excellent) on four dogs:

Jetta - German Shepherd,
Spirit - German Shepherd,
Reason - American Staffordshire Terrier,
Eclipse - Schipperke.
Rudy - Amstaff

In all of these trials I have come out at the top of my class. Including several high in classes, highest scoring puppy, and highest scoring German Shepherd. My biggest achievement is while trialing Eclipse (my schipperke) I got a score of 198.5 out of a perfect 200 score, and we got #4 obedience schipperke in Canada in 1999. And of course going number ONE american staffordshire terrier in obedience in CANADA for 2004 & 2005 & 2006 ! ( with Reason) 

Flyball:

FDX (Flyball Dog Excellent):

Eclipse - placing her # 14 Schipperke overall in Canada.

Agility:

AGN (Agility Dog Novice):

Eclipse -  2 legs, placing first place in each. 
Vixen -  completed her title placing in two 1st and a 3rd. Reason - completed his title placing two 1st, one 2nd. Cricket - completed her title placing 1st in all 3 legs.
Rudy - completed his title placing two 1st, and two 3rd. Karma- completed her title with three 1rst place wins.

AGI (Agility Dog Intermediate):

Vixen - 1 leg towards title.
Cricket - completed her intermediate title
Reason - completed his intermediate title

TT (Temperment Test):

Reason - American Staffordshire Terrier,
Rudy - American Staffordshire Terrier,
Eclipse - Schipperke.

CLASS PRICES Obedience $150.00 Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels for all classes (8 one hour classes)

Agility and Flyball $ 150.00 ( for these sports classes dogs MUST have obedience classes first )

All dogs in all classes MUST be fully vaccinated up to date with proof including bordetella (kennel cough).

We take dogs starting at 8 weeks old. It is easier to train a puppy right the first time than to train wrong and then try to retrain a older dog. Also your dog is NEVER too old to start training, people don’t stop learning at a certain age and neither do dogs.

We accept all breeds of dogs.
