Agility is a sport where a dog and handler team navigate a series of obstacles including jumps, tunnels, a tire, A-Frame, dog walk, see-saw, table, and weave poles. Agility is an extremely popular sport and new training techniques in recent years have taken this sport to a high level. Agility can be enjoyed by any healthy dog, and classes are catered to the goals of our students. We offer regular opportunities to "try out" agility for an evening, as we show you how to safely introduce the equipment to your dog. Our agility fun nights are very popular among our students and book up quickly. We also offer 8 week courses and build obstacle independence and handling skills within the dog and handler teams. Opportunities to compete are available and coaching and training geared towards preparation for competition is available to those interested.
We request that our students complete a beginner and intermediate obedience class with us before starting agility training. Our obedience classes lay the groundwork for a great working relationship.
