Skiplyn Kennels is re-open but we will be following strict social distancing guidelines as determined by the government of Ontario. If you are attending one of our obedience classes, you MUST wear a face mask and not be experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19.
At Skiplyn Kennels Dog Training we strive to provide high quality and effective training to our clients in the City of Greater Sudbury. We are Sudbury's only professional dog training school and offer group training classes year-round at our wonderful training facility located at 26 Garson-Coniston Road in Garson. In addition, we offer private training consultations, board-and-train opportunities, and a myriad of dog sport activities for your canine companions.
The next session will be starting soon! Registration for next session will be on September 22, 2020 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Classes start the week of September 28, 2020. You MUST be pre-registered to attend (no walk-ins allowed). To hold a spot in the next session, send a $50 non-refundable deposit via e-transfer - you must include your name, phone number, breed and age of your dog in the e-transfer message box and use a specified password - contact Tammy for further details.

The classes will be outside (weather permitting). If the weather is bad, classes will be held inside but still under strict social distancing guidelines.
The classes are $250 (tax included) for the 8-week session. Classes are filling up quickly so to guarantee your spot in a class for this session, send the full, non-refundable payment via e-transfer - contact Tammy for further details.
Dogs have to be up to date on vaccines (including kennel cough) BEFORE classes start and a vaccine certificate signed by your veterinarian should be provided at registration as proof of vaccine status.
If you have a reactive dog (people aggression or dog aggression), a private session with Tammy is REQUIRED prior to joining group classes. The private session is needed to assess the dog for proper class placement and for the safety of our other students. PLEASE NOTE: participation may be revoked (with no refund) if your dog's reactivity is not disclosed prior to registration.
If you are interested in private training (one on one training) prior to or instead of group classes, the cost is $100 per hour for regular issues and $150 per hour for any aggression or reactivity issues.
