Dog Sports & Extracurriculars

Dog sports were originally created to showcase a dog’s working ability, putting specific skills to the test based on what the breed was originally meant to do. These days, dog sports are just as much about having fun, building a strong bond with your dog, and giving high-energy breeds an outlet for their drive and enthusiasm. Some people enjoy the competitive side, but at the heart of it, it’s all about spending quality time, having fun and enjoying the process with your dog.

Winter 2025 Class Schedule

Tuesday 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM : Beginner Agility Class!

Tuesday 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM : Advanced Agility Class!

Popular Dog Sports

  • Agility

    Dog agility is a dog sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy. The obstacles consist of jumps, tunnels, weave poles, climbing equipment etc.

  • Dog Sledding

    Dog Sledding is a sport where a team of dogs pull a sled with the musher standing on the runners. The team completing the marked course in the least time is the winner of the race!

  • Disc Dog

    Disc Dog is a sport where Dog & Handler compete in various games where the dog must catch flying Discs! There are events such as distance catching and choreographed freestyle catching!

  • Dryland & Joring

    Joring & Dryland sports are another form of dog powered sport, the dog(s) are pulling the musher on skis, a bicycle, a scooter or a rig! The goal is to complete the marked course with the fastest time!

  • Dock Diving

    Dock Diving is a sport that involves a large pool with a dock for the dogs to be able to run and jump into the pool! They are judged by how far they jump, how high they jump or how fast they swim!

  • Protection Sports

    Protection sports are designed to showcase the highest level of Training. The competitions are made up of a series of Obedience and Attack Work routines and the judging is very meticulous.
